Share Photos with Ease
As a mom living far way from my own family, I was looking for an easy way to share the hundreds of photos quickly filling up my computer’s hard drive. IMy family members have signed up as my contacts in Flickr, and are notified automatically when I upload new photos. You can easily control the privacy of your photos, with options to make them completely private, only visible to contacts, or public. Grandma loves being able to select the photos online that she wants to print and voila! – they are ready for pick up in under an hour at her local Target. No more waiting for them to be mailed. You can even make all sorts of nifty little gifts through Flickr’s partners – everything from photo mugs to tiny photo magnets.
My favorite feature is the option to integrate Flickr with your Facebook account – when you upload new photos, Flickr will post them on your Facebook wall with a link back to your account. One click and I’ve updated both my family on Flickr and my friends on Facebook – what could be easier than that?
