It’s hard to believe how sharply MP3 player prices have been dropping over the last few years.  Not that long ago, I paid more than $100 for my 1GB Cowon iAudio.  I love it’s tiny size, FM transmitter and display screen, but the thing I was always coveting was the clip – it’s a little awkward to keep a tiny player in your pocket and annoying to hold it if you don’t have pockets.

To illustrate my price-dropping point, Buy.com has recertified SanDisk Sansa Clip 1GB MP3 Players for $14.99 with free shipping.  This player has all the aforementioned features I love about my current player, AND the coveted clip.  Sounds like a sweet deal to me!
