Gadget Filled Flights Coming Soon

Virgin Airlines has announced that it will be the first airline to have wifi available on every single one of its flights.  It will cost you – between $6 and $10 per flight, depending on your device and length of flight.  Delta Airlines has also said it will offer wifi on all of its flights, starting in the second quarter of 2009.  Pricing with Delta will run between $10 and $13 depending on length of flight.  Other airlines looking to add wifi service include American Airlines and JetBlue, but no official announcement of when that will be available.

This will be a huge advantage for business travelers, but leisure passengers will also benefit from this service.  I’m not sure it will be enough for me to book on a certain airline though – only free wifi would do that.  The question is, who will be the first to offer that?

Thanks SlashGear!
