iPhone users – want to stay fit and eat fresh this summer?  The new Locavore application for iPhone allows you to see what food is in season where you are.  The app automatically detects what state you’re in and reveals the food that’s in season – and lists the farmer’s markets nearest your location.  Wondering if you can get what you need for that favorite recipe?  It also can help you determine what is in season at your supermarket.  You’ll never have to thump another melon again.  Available at the iTunes store for $2.99.
