Get Better Sleep Tonight
As a mother of a young toddler who doesn’t get much sleep these days, this gadget definitely caught my eye. It’s called the Zeo Personal Sleep Coach – sort of a hybrid alarm clock/EEG machine. It tracks your sleeping patterns, everything from how long it takes you to fall asleep, how long you are sleeping, and how deeply your sleep cycles are.
It can even detect the best time to wake you, when you are lightly sleeping (around the time you’ve selected) and promises a gentler waking experience. It comes with a headband that you wear while you are sleeping (that’ll take some getting used to) which monitors your brain activity and wirelessly tranfers that information to the clock where it’s stored on a SD card.
At $399, it’s certainly not an impluse purchase. But sleeping problems are a big complait for many people, and can really affect your daily life. If it’s as good as it promises, it just might be worth it.

Very cool post! Loved it! I wish they had this around with my kids were little. By the way…that old adage “sleeping like a baby” is ridiculous. Babies don’t sleep…or sleep for long stretches of time anyway. It should be “sleeping like a teenager!”
